'Parlay' means you just want to immediately stack your winnings on your bet if something hits without collecting any of it. 'Hard ways, heavy on the 6' is a way to cover all the hard ways but place most of the money on the hard 6 throwing out $5 and saying that would put you up for $2 on the hard 6 and $1 each across the other hard ways. 'Horn high yo' will do the same, but the higher bet will be on the 11. For example, tossing out $5 and saying 'horn high aces' tells the dealers that you want $2 on the 2 and $1 on the 3, 11, and 12. You use the words 'high' or 'heavy' followed by a bet name to indicate that you want most of your bet money put on that number when you are betting more than the standard amount. 'High Low' is a prop bet for the 2 or 12 to come out. This amount increases by $32 each time you bump up units evenly across the numbers, so $64 across for $10 units across, $96 across for $15 units, etc.

The base across amount for a $5 table is $32 Across, or $5 each on the 4, 5, 9, and 10 and $6 on the 6 and 8. Increasing units on the inside numbers will always bump them up a total of $22, so the next step would be $44 inside, then $66 inside, and so on. On a $5 table, $22 Inside puts $5 on the 5 and 9 and $6 on the 6 and 8 each. Get comfortable with your units and values for going inside or across the place numbers. Placing bets 'downtown' and 'uptown' means placing the 4, 5, and6 or the 8, 9, and 10 respectively, but is more of an old-school term. 'Two-way hard ways' is what I say when I want to cover all the hard ways bets and also put the dealers up with me so they can play along and win a bigger tip.
